CRANSTON, RI — The Cranston Police Department is selling patches and coins to raise money for breast cancer awareness. Each costs $15, or $25 for both.

The patches are PVC with a velcro back. This is not the first fundraiser the department has held a fundraiser to raise awareness for a good cause. In April, the department sold similar patches for autism awareness, bearing the cause’s signature puzzle piece motif on the department’s logo.

The new patch features a pink breast cancer awareness ribbon in the center of the logo, with a pink border and lettering. The coin, meanwhile, bar the same logo on one side and the words “hope strength, faith” on the reverse.
