GREENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) — Just about every community can boast a certain something that makes it special, but when it comes to originality, few can rival a local village named a national historic landmark, a designation that’s rare for an entire community.

On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Mike Strehlow shined the spotlight on the restoration of an “original, original” in Greendale, a project celebrating the unique history of a garden community built during the great depression.
