The Mukilteo Police Department will continue its support of Men’s Health Awareness Month by hosting its second “Cuts with Cops” event.
Residents can get a haircut by a member of the police department from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, at Nic’s Barbershop, 4704 Pointes Drive, Suite 105.
Mukilteo Police Department members will be at Nic’s Barbershop to assist barbers with providing haircuts to customers, while partnering with the community to support men’s health. Donations can be made separately from the barber’s regular haircut fee to the Prostate Cancer Research Institute at https://pcri.org/donate.
To maintain compliance with public safety guidelines, customers are required to make an appointment for a haircut, and everyone will wear masks. There will always be a limited number of persons inside the barbershop and social distancing will be adhered to.
Members of the community can also stop by and share some conversation with police officers or to simply say hello.
To make your appointment call 425-512-8870 and state that you would like your haircut by a cop. Professional barbers will be present for each haircut.
“This is a fun way for the community to support men’s health,” Mukilteo Police Chief Cheol Kang said. “I encourage everyone to make an appointment or donate from home.”,
