Residents and staff at a care home in Exeter, Devon, have been supporting Movember to raise awareness of men’s health issues.

Cadogan Court’s staff and its residents had fun wearing fake moustaches to pose for photos and enjoyed an afternoon tea.

Movember, taking place across the whole of November, sees men around the world grow a moustache to raise awareness and funds for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer, testicular cancer and male suicide. It’s also an opportunity for women to show support to the men in their lives.

Emma Allen, the activities coordinator for Cagodan Court, said: “Supporting Movember has proven to be a great way for our home to prompt discussion and raise awareness of men’s health. It is so important that we encourage gentlemen to be more open about their mental and physical health.”
