REDDING, Calif. – Bringing awareness to people about breast cancer is a big deal in Redding, and Nor-Cal Think Pink organization offers a multitude of events each year.
Many supporters use the annual Nor-Cal Think Pink Breast Cancer Awareness calendar to keep track of all of the related events and other appointments they want on their schedules.
Redding is known for its involvement in the Think Pink movement for breast cancer awareness. The event got its start in Redding and then spread to other communities.
“Pets and Wildlife of the North State” has been announced as the theme for the 2021-2022 calendar by Nor-Cal Think Pink.
The publication will feature house pets, outdoor pets, and animals shown in their natural North State habitat.
If you want to submit a photograph you need the follow the guidelines.
The image must pertain to North State animals, either domestic or wild. (Examples include dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, cows, horses, eagles, ducks deer, elk, antelope, etc.)
The image needs to be on a photograph taken in Northern California.
Preference will be given to pink-themed photos, including the color pink, pink attire, or pink décor.
Photographers can adorn a favorite pet in pink, or simply use a pink-related theme. People can also use ribbons and scarves or can frame the photograph in pink.
